The Defendant was involved in a minor traffic accident with a taxi cab. When the police officer arrived, he noticed that the defendant had slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and smelled like alcohol. When questioned, the defendant admitted to drinking prior to the accident. He was asked to perform roadside exercises and he did so. According to the officer, he performed very poorly.
