A client was charged with DUI and DUI (damage to property or persons). The State alleged he rear-ended another vehicle, and when police arrived, the client was drowsy, had difficulty standing in one position, his eyes were droopy and he was “on the nod.” Officers noted his speech was slow and incoherent at times. Officers also observed the client eating gummy bears and smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. He was arrested for DUI and DUI (damage to property or persons). The Ticket Clinic defended him, and both charges were dropped. *Prospective clients may not obtain the same or similar results.
